What is a Curiosity? Simply, anything found in
the English countryside which does not quite fit in with its surroundings. |
There are many examples of these curious, eccentric and sometimes totally bizarre
objects around us including old water fountains, wells, village pumps, ancient
pillar boxes, lamp posts, old road signs, epitaphs in graveyards, signs on buildings
- the list goes on and on. |
I have studied these items for many years and have built up a series of shows using
top quality slide photographs with background music and sound effects. |
From my base in South Oxfordshire, I have visited many groups in the counties of
Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Hertfordshire who have found
my presentations both very informative and entertaining. |
These shows are suitable for Women’s Institutes, Camera Clubs, History Societies,
Retirement groups, Townswomen’s Guilds, Church groups, Social Clubs -
in fact any group or club who organise a Programme of meetings looking for
a presentation which is uniquely different. |
