Alan’s Big Picture Show
A unique digital Audio Visual show in which you will see a selection of short films (sequences) covering many different subjects.
Many of the films tell a story and will be accompanied by a recorded commentary - other films will have a music background, some nice and gentle and some very dramatic.
At present, I can offer you Seven separate shows as follows:
Show One includes the following sequences: Black and White Cottages, Hampden Pye, Trentham Gardens, Come to Wales, Rome, Imagine by John Lennon, Sonning Scarecrows, Friends, English Heritage and the very dramatic Phantom of the Opera.
Show Two is as follows: The Cotswolds, Night Photography, The Oxford Monopoly Board, Pussy Cats, Natural History, Beamish Open-Air Museum, Traffic Lights, Theale Church and Portmeirion.
Show Three has the following films: Winter in Finland, Bath, He ain't Heavy by The Hollies, War on the Line, Oxford Academia, After the Harvest, Kew Gardens, It's a Small World and Rhondda Grey.
Show Four includes the following sequences: Twelve Months in Scotland, Amsterdam, Beautiful Images, Flowers and Fairies, Milestones Museum, Versailles, Fine Art Works, Haworth, The Falkirk Wheel, Traction Engines and Hidden Marlow.
Show Five has the following films: Yorkshire, Bohemia, Swanage Piers, St Fagans Open-Air Museum, 24 hour Le Mans Motor Race, Flushed with Pride, Villa Joiosa, Woodcote Steam Rally and The Swing Band.
Show Six takes us to Hidden Henley, The Amish people in America, Llanberis Lake Railway, In Decline, What do you see? Southwold, The Dream King, The Lake District and Hidden Abingdon
Show Seven is as follows: Scotney Castle, The Aura of Aurora, Double Glazed, Victorian Town, Haunted, Yorkshire Dales and Villages, Twilight Village and A Study of L S Lowry.
