I am currently the Chairman of the Whitchurch Hill Camera Club and enjoy all aspects
of Club photography. As well as giving my shows at Camera Clubs, I also act as an
independent judge for Club competitions and exhibitions outside of my own Club.
Prior to taking early retirement in 1998, I was employed within the Financial Services
industry selling endowment mortgages, with profits pension policies and investment
bonds - enough said ! ! ! !
I am now in my early 70's and, having lost my wife in 2009, I really enjoy meeting
new people and am always happy to give my presentations to any sized group from 4
people to over 300.
I am always looking out for new Curiosities and information on those that I already
include in my shows so, if you have any suggestions, particularly if they are in
the areas covered by my shows, please contact me as soon as possible.
I am a keen photographer and gained my Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society
(LRPS) in October 2002.
For my long and dedicated service to Camera Clubs, I was recently privileged to receive
the APAGB, awarded by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
